Cycling has always been a central part of my life. Each ride brings its own memories, its own stories. For me, it all started in the late 1980s, racing BMX in Southern California. Back then, I was ranked #2 among female BMX riders in the region. Every race, every push to the limit, carried a sense of freedom and challenge that only cycling can bring. Those days were exhilarating, and the thrill of competition shaped my love for the sport. Fast forward to today, and my cycling journey has taken on a new form. I’m no longer chasing medals or rankings; now, it’s about the joy of each ride, the simple pleasure of exploring the world on two wheels. I’m 65 years old and have been working as a multimedia designer for many years. Recently, I rediscovered cycling, and it’s become one of the most fulfilling hobbies I’ve taken up in the past year or so. I live near the quayside of a large river, which is connected to several picturesque waterways, and my Freesky e-bike has allowed me to explore this beautiful area with ease.
