Rediscovering Freedom: My Journey Back to Riding with Freesky
MAR 09, 2026
In 2018, my world turned upside down. I fell off a ladder and broke both my feet. The doctors told me I might never ride a bike again. For someone who has always loved cycling, that news was devastating. I had spent years exploring trails, feeling the wind on my face, and now it seemed like that joy was gone forever.
During my rehabilitation, my physiotherapist suggested trying an electric bike — specifically, a Freesky. The idea was simple but powerful: an e-bike could compensate for my limited mobility and allow me to ride again. Skeptical but hopeful, I reached out to the Freesky team, and that’s when I met Jensen.

From the very first conversation, Jensen was incredibly understanding. They listened to my concerns, asked about my limitations, and reassured me that riding could be possible again. Their patience and empathy immediately made me feel supported, which meant the world at a time when I was feeling uncertain about my future.
My first test ride was on the Alaska Pro. While the bike was amazing in many ways, the frame was a bit too tall for me to comfortably get on and off. I explained my difficulty to Jensen, and we decided the Warrior Pro would be a better fit. Freesky didn’t hesitate — they arranged for me to try the Warrior Pro, and I could tell immediately that it was a perfect match.

The first time I rode the Warrior Pro, I felt a rush of emotions I hadn’t experienced in years. The motor provided smooth, effortless support. The pedals, the seat, and the overall setup made riding not only possible but truly enjoyable again. I felt the road beneath me, heard the crunch of gravel on the trail, and felt free in a way I had feared was lost forever.
Riding again has been life-changing. I can explore trails, commute, and enjoy the outdoors without pain or fear. The Warrior Pro has restored a part of my life I thought I had lost, and I owe that entirely to the Freesky team. Their dedication, understanding, and willingness to go above and beyond — especially Jensen — turned what seemed impossible into reality.

If you know someone with disabilities who feels they can never ride again, I urge you to encourage them to try Freesky. With the right support, riding is still possible, and the joy it brings is immeasurable.
Thank you, Freesky, for giving me back my freedom, my confidence, and my love for cycling. You haven’t just provided a bike — you’ve given me my life back.
